Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GREAT LOOKING 1969 CHEVY CAMARO CONVERTIBLE SS 350 TRIBUTE CAR, WITH X-11 CODES ON COWL TAG THAT RUNS/DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY AND YOU CAN HOP IN AN DRIVE ANYWHERE. LOTS OF RESTORATION WORK DONE TO THIS CAR. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Manual brakes Manual convertible top UPGRADED Deluxe interior seats UPGRADED 15" Rally wheels with white letter radial tires Single exhaust UPGRADED SS package (stripes, rear spoiler, emblems, appearance trim including rocker moldings, wheel well moldings, rear quarter ornaments/fins) 10 bolt rear end 3 speed manual transmission Vehicle comes from upstate NY where it has been lovingly restored in the previous owner's spare time during the last handful of years. He has owned the car since 1985 and always kept it garaged and covered indoors. It has never seen a winter and was only driven about 200-300 miles a year to car shows, cruise night and club functions. It has been professionally painted with base/clear coat in 2009 after having had both door skins replaced, all the other panels seem to be original from what I could see! Motor was professinally rebuilt about 20k miles ago and runs beautifully. Other restoration work included new interior (carpet, door panels, dash pad, armrests, painted dash, seats, etc) redone in the last few years. Some new chrome replaced as well as new emblems and trim throughout, and weather-stripping for most of the car. This is a factory X-11 car with special appearance package trim, and i also have the ORIGINAL PROTECT-O-PLATE as well as the owner's manual with 1969 pouch. Interior is in EXCELLENT condition with only very minor general wear here and there. Seats have minor wear and show very well with very minor cushion discoloration. Door panels/armrests, carpeting, and dash pad all look like new. Convertible top also is very clean and nearly looks new with nice and clear back window. Overall a beautifully presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the factory small block 2v motor with rare 3 speed manual transmission. Starts easily and sounds great. Good stock power overall and brakes stop VERY WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without worries. I've driven it mostly around town here and there and every once in a while on the highway on the way to a cruise night or local show, never on any long trips, so before you take the car out for a long drive I would recommend having it gone through to be safe and work out all the little bugs. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up VERY WELL with good luster for a nice higher-end driver (NOT a showcar). Trunk pan SOLID throughout, but looks to have had a couple of small patches near shock towers, which are also pretty solid (center section of pan was probably replaced with aftermarket piece and welded). Floorboards SOLID throughout with some surface rust in a few places but overall look good. SOLID FRAME from what I could see with some scaly surface rust here and there, NO holes. Front radiator support has some pinholes here and there. Valve cover gaskets could use replacing. Couple of small leaks underneath as you would expect with any 40+ year old car. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A VERY COOL CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER RIGHT NOW OR CRUISE NIGHT CAR. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT WITH THE TOP DOWN AND ENJOY THE WEATHER. THIS IS A RARE OPTIONED, NEARLY RUST-FREE AND VERY STRAIGHT EXAMPLE OF A 1969 CAMARO SS CONVERTIBLE TRIBUTE WITH 72K MILES (BELIEVED TO BE ACTUAL) THAT YOU CAN ENJOY WITH THE TOP DOWN OR KEEP AS PART OF YOUR CLASSIC CRUISER COLLECTION!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
