1992 GEO METRO LSI CONVERTIBLE Here is yet another Geo that is pretty much as good as they get. This car has a clean, accident free record. It has bounced around several states, mostly southern. I bought this car from Flint, from an insurance man, who pulled it behind his motorhome. It has the plug on the front bumper to plug it in for the lights. When he wasn't towing it, or driving it in the south, it sat in his garage. It shows 129,000 on the odometer, but since it was pulled, who know how much less it really is. I looked it over bumper to bumper. There are no major flaws in this car, either cosmetically, or mechanically.. It did come equipped with factory A/C, but the belt is not installed. So I am guessing it needs a belt and a charge. None of the parts are missing. This convertible runs and drives real nice. It starts and idles smooth, shifts up and down through the gears smoothly, and drives straight down the road at any speed. The front tires are brand new, the rear ones have about 50% tread. The convertible top is original, and although the top itself is in good condition, the window is not very clear, and has a split. The conv. top seals are all present, and in decent condition. There is no evidence of prior accident damage anywhere. The exhaust is quiet, and it doesn't smoke or drip any oil. It has a fresh oil change to take you anywhere you wish to go. The carpet is in excellent condition for it's age. The dash is in excellent condition, with just a hairline crack that's not noticable near the center. All of the cluster buttons are present. All the locks work as do the inner and outer door handles.Both the outer handles are brand new. The door panels aren't faded like most. The seats show well for their age, there is wear on the upper drivers side, but overall in excellent condition. The convertible top goes up and down like it should. The seat belts work as they should.. The windshield is in excellent shape with no cracks or chips and is exceptionally clear.It does have one stone chip. The side windows have minimal scratches, and do go up and down as they should. All of the lights work as they should, including the blinkers, brake, running, and headlights. It does have the factory original radio. The trunk area is very clean with no rust, and it does come with the spare.. This Geo does not have any of the known problems that most Geos have. The control arm mounts are solid, and there is no evidence of rust ever being there. Under the hood is very clean. This Geo has the factory white paint, and has never been repainted. There is evidence of some touchups , but the entire paint job is the original. Double black pinstripe accents the body line with a little wave at the rear.. DON'T MISS OUT! This is a gem. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This car needs to be picked up, or delivered, by August 22 as I will be out of town after that. Also, I can bring the car down to Detroit Metro Airport, which is an hour south , for a nominal fee. Let the pictures speak for themselves.
