I bought this vehicle for the purpose of reselling it on ebay. I have a high school friend who owns an auto dealership in Ky. He allows me to check out his trade ins and lease returns for this purpose. When I find one that I'm interested in, I have it checked out mechanically. If the vehicle needs only minor repair, I buy it and have the repairs done. This 2500 HD needed a outside mirror glass replaced and a cleaning. This Silverado runs and drives great. The engine(6.0 liter Vortec 8cyl.), transmission(automatic) preform as expected, with no unusual noises, leaks or smoking, from either, warm or cold. The transfer case works as expected with no problems shifting in and out of 4X4. The truck is equipped with 16", 8 lug, steel wheels, front tow hooks, slide in trailer hitch bolted to the rear bumper, tow/haul feature, tilt steering wheel, dual zone climate control, am/fm stereo, dual front air bags, vinyl interior, 36 gallon fuel tank, 40/20/40 split bench seat, and a/c. All of the afore mentioned equipment is in good working order, with the exception of a small hole in the center of the seat material that is the size of a dime. The GVWR is 9200lbs. The rear axle codes are GT5and G80, this denotes that the rearend is a limited slip, posi traction differential with a 4:10 gear. The exterior has some minor dings, and scratches in a few places around the truck. The tires are a set of Cooper Discoverer STT's and are size LT285/75R16. The rear tires are @ 65% and the front tires are @50 % and need replacing. There is no spare tire. The passenger side of the bed appears to have had some minor body repair in the past(this was done when before I bought the truck). There are also a few small dents on the driver's door and fender, scratches and dings on the tailgate and several scrapes and dings in various places around the truck(I tried to show all of these in the pictures). I do have the owner's manuals for the truck. I was told this truck is a one owner leased new and fleet serviced by a large company. However, I have no proof of this claim.
