Vehicle Detail

First year CB750A Hondamatic 2-speed clutchless operation motorcycle. A beautiful bike in original condition with Vetter Fairing also in excellent condition. Recent renovation/restoration included: - New front tire - New chain - Complete tuneup and valve adjustment - Professional carb rebuild - Brakes cleaned and rebuilt - Forks / engine cases cleaned and polished Cosmetically this bike is very nice with no dents in tank and side covers in beautiful shape. Fairing paint is immaculate. Seat has no rips or tears. It appears this bike has never been dropped or tipped over. Bike starts with one touch of the starter button and operates smoothly. All electrical functions operate as designed. Mechanically the bike is very sound, I just took it on a trip and rode approx 600 miles with no problems. Ebay photos are too small to see...go to http://s269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/tomswift99/CB750A%20Hondamatic/ to see larger versions and a few extras This is a SUPERB commuter bike - like driving granddads' Buick, the riding is smooth and casual. Once you get used to the transmission, you just leave it in Drive and ride...no shifting necessary. The Vetter Windjammer Fairing has two glove box areas in beautiful shape; the left still has the original Vetter cover with inner pocket and the right has a lockable cover with 2 keys. All lights on the fairing work perfectly. When you are riding on the highway the fairing is a blessing and helps prevent fatigue. Included are the original tool kit, owners' manual and the kick start lever stored under the seat. Title is signed and notarized. Please note this is a used bike with a few scratches here and there (no dents) and some rust on metal areas exposed to the weather. It is not in museum condition, but would make an excellent candidate for finalizing the restoration or will make anyone happy as a daily or weekend rider. The bike cranks easy, runs fast, stops strong and works reliably... like most Hondas it will supply you with miles of smiles with minimal upkeep. Please feel free to ask any question prior to bidding, but once you bid and win the bike the only question I want to hear is "will you help load it?" Deposit of $200 is due immediately after end of auction, remainder of auction total is due in cash upon pickup. Bike can be held up to 2 weeks after end of auction, if arrangements for delay in pickup are not agreed upon bike will be re-listed and deposit will be forfeited. Storage of bike for longer than 2 weeks will add $50/week. Delivery up to 250 miles is available,($1.50/mile from my door to yours on google map) shipping charges must be prepaid. I will cooperate with any shipper who comes to my drive for pickup - I recommend using uship.com, they have moved many bikes for me and typically deliver good service for a cheap rate. It is not unusual to ship a bike 500 miles for $250. Thanks for looking, good luck bidding and as always bless you for helping clean out my garage!!TS99
