Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A DROP DEAD GORGEOUS LOOKING DARK METALLIC BLUE 1970 DODGE CHARGER 500 WITH FACTORY "L-CODE" 383CI 4BBL. BIG BLOCK AND 34K MILES SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER, AS WELL AS FACTORY BUILD SHEET, AND YOU CAN HOP IN AND TAKE IT CRUISING AT YOUR LEISURE ANYTIME. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Power brakes Air conditioning (under hood parts removed) In dash clock Dual exhaust Factory 383ci 4bbl. motor (originally 2V 290hp car) Factory automatic transmission on the column Bucket seats w/center armrest Rear stripe 15" CHROME Magnum 500 wheels with white letter radial tires This 1970 Charger 500 is an XP29 car, which means it's a FACTORY Charger 500. It is also a factory L-code big block car, meaning it came with a 383ci 2V motor (now 4V). It has had an older restoration by the previous owner within the last ten years. When I got it, it basically needed some cleaning and the paint to be brought back t life, because the car was stored indoors in climate controlled garage. I sent it out to my shop and now the paint shines beautifully. Interior received a new carpet, new headliner and a newly reupholstered center armrest section. Wheels/tires were added on. The motor has some minor performance modifications that were done, such as an aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 4bbl. carburetor, Accel performance wires and ignition coil, long-tube headers with dual exhaust and minor internal modifications to the block such as a mild racing camshaft and minor 0.030 block overbore. Interior is in VERY GOOD overall condition. Seats in good shape (bottom of driver's seat has some seam splits). Steering wheel is nice. Dash is very good. Door panels are presentable with some minor cracks on the upper ones. Interior was originally blue, and has been dyed black with the exception of the carpet and headliner which were recently installed. Overall a nicely presentable high-end driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the stock 383ci motor (originally 290hp, now pushing well above 350hp) that runs beautifully. It is 100% Stock with NO modifications of any sort. The car runs/drives beautifully and starts at the turn of the key. Runs great and idles great. Transmission shifts nice and smooth. Brakes stop very well and have been recently serviced. Steering is nice and nimble and the car rides very well. I've taken it around town and on the highway a few of times and it has never let me down. Plenty of power and great acceleration! Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up VERY WELL with good luster for a very nice driver but it has various small imperfections as you would expect from driving. A handful of tiny bubbles at base of driver's side rear window. Rear driver's side top of fender where the stripe is has some cracks in paint. Chrome is very presentable, but not show quality. Not working: radio, clock, hidden headlight covers (they open manually),horn and perhaps it may need a couple of bulbs replaced here and there. Trunk pan has been previously patched and is overall fairly solid. Underside has minor surface rust in a couple of places but seems to have good floorboards (front floors have some pinholes) and SOLID FRAME throughout. Some small leaks here and there as you would expect of any 40 year old car (this is not a Honda). Dash gauges working, but not perfectly accurate of course. Missing: spare, jack. That's about all I was able to notice. It may need a few other tiny things as any other used car, so please keep that in mind. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS LOOKING 1970 DODGE CHARGER 500 FACTORY 383 BIG BLOCK CAR WITH 34K MILES SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER AND A KILLER COLOR COMBO, SO YOU CAN'T MISS IT ANYWHERE YOU TAKE IT. SUPER CLEAN DRIVER THAT IS TURN-KEY!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
