Here is a nice 2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder just waiting for a new owner. It's bright red with a black top and black cloth interior, 5-speed, AC, all the power options and 85K miles. It was purchased by a friend of mine a little more than 2 years ago and he just doesn't drive it much (he's 71 and has trouble getting in & out of it). He had it tuned up and the struts replaced last year, so it won't need anything done for quiite awhile. It runs and drives very well.....the tires have plenty of tread left and it handles like it's on rails. When he purchased this car the previous owner had painted many of the interior trim panels red to match the outside color. Needless to say, it looked hideous and he replaced them with NOS Toyota parts. The steering wheel has some of this red paint along the top from a sloppy job by the previous owner (it looks like he did not remove the panels prior to painting them). Aside from the little bit of paint on the steering wheel, the interior is in nice shape. There is one small tear in the drivers seat mesh.....no hole in the seat itself, just the outside mesh covering (please see the pictures). Also, the headlight covers were hazy when he bought the car so he installed NOS Toyota covers that are crystal clear. This car was in a minor fender bender back in 2004 when it had just over 20K miles. The front bumper cover appears to have been repainted,but I see no structural issues.....it was not a serious accident. Being 9 years old there are a few dings, scratches and chips in the paint. It has been an Arizona & Colorado car it's entire life, so no rust at all. High bidder to pay a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction close via Pay Pal.
