1985 Honda V65 Sabre

1985 Honda VF1100S DESCRIPTION For sale is this 1985 Honda V65 Sabre (1100cc). This Sabre is a mechanics special sold as a project bike. It is, however, quite complete and it does start and run. In fact the previous owner rode it regularly. Unlike many old bikes the gas tank interior is pretty clean - further evidence of it's continuous use. Tires in decent usable shape. There are are at least a couple of issues we know of that require attention before it could be a daily rider here in Pennsylvania where we have a quite strict vehicle state inspection. The speedometer/odometer (electric, not cable) is not functional so it can't pass our state inspection as is. The odometer does show 2001 miles but we have no way of knowing how long it's been non functional. The bike also needs the the kick stand kill switch repaired/replaced. The clutch lever is bent and the front brake lever has the ball end broken off. The bike has been painted in a very non-original red and (crackle finish) black. If you are looking to trade your sweat equity for these repairs on this 25 year old bike then maybe could be your ride. As a 25 year old vehicle, may be eligible for Antique tags in PA or other states. Clear Pennsylvania title. Sold strictly as is - where is. No Reserve.
