Up for auction is our Super clean 1968 Camaro. Unfortunately for us, but fortunately for you, being sold for family reasons. This car was in the same family for 25+ years. Numbers match. All original body panels, floor pans, and trunk pan. And no, they don't need to be replaced. Always garage kept. While not perfect, the overall condition of this original Camaro is remarkable. Never wrecked. Exterior excellent. Glass excellent. Chrome excellent. Interior excellent. As one would expect, the bronze paint has some minor scratches and chips visible when viewed close-up, but no dents or dings. There is a scratch on the back of the passenger bucket seat, but otherwise no rips or tears in the seats or door panels. Carpet is like new. The headliner is tight and looks great, but has 4 small holes symetrically in the front/rear left/right corners. Perhaps from being stretched a little too tight. I plan to have these repaired before auction close. Powered by a built 327 with a Muncie M-20 4 speed going through a 10 bolt rear with 4.10 gears, it runs very strong and smooth. Recent new exhaust sounds great. The engine has an Edelbrock Torker on top of double hump heads with 10/1 compression, a 292 cam and a deep sump pan. Clutch and tranny shift smooth. Originally with air, but no compressor installed at this time. Even comes with the original Jack !! The car is available for viewing by appointment.
