I bought this west coast camper (from Seattle) 2 years ago for a non-profit project where we needed to make an impression. This bus definitely does and its perfect for anybody who wants to advertise a business or an idea. But it's more than that. The micro-bus is the perfect counter culture statement, especially if that statement is about go, go, go and more, more, more. Take this out on America's back roads and time slows down so you can really see what's beyond the interstate. When my husband and I go camping both of us sleep up top where there's a nice breeze when we unzip the windows with another full sized bed on the bottom. Plenty of storage room under the seats and on shelves in the back. Previous owners installed a Blaupunkt CD player with a remote. Comes with the refrigerator unit (not original, but it works). Cute curtains provide privacy. Our non-profit project is over and we've recently moved to a condo downtown - so our little red bus needs to find a new home. With over $20,000 invested and less than 2,000 miles on the rebuilt engine, this bus will be a great deal for somebody! All the work's been done, including the brand new shiny, factory-color paint job, every piece by a professional VW specialist with over 50 years experience.
