1991 GEO METRO LSI CONVERTIBLE Here is yet another Geo that is pretty much as good as they get. Scoring a 37 on the Auto check, This car has a clean, accident free record. I bought this car from north of Lansing, off the beaten path, It was hidden in a pole barn. It had sat indoors amongst the tractors for many years. There was no rust through on the car, but the brake lines, brakes, and gas lines were not roadworthy. I went through it bumper to bumper. This Geo was inspected by an ASE certified Master Mechanic from front to back. Everything that needed to be replaced, was. Included were the rear wheel cylinders and shoes, including the brake hardware. Front rotors and pads,,including all hard lines. Front wheel bearings installed. Camshaft seal, crankshaft seal, timing belt, alternator belt, and A/C belt. Exhaust pipe was replaced, along with the resonator and muffler. I installed a brand new duralast battery. This car does appear to be very low mileage, with all the tell tale signs pointing toward a 50,000 mile car. There is no evidence otherwise. This convertible runs and drives real nice. It starts and idles smooth, shifts up and down through the gears smoothly, and drives straight down the road at any speed. The tires are good.. The convertible top is brand new yesterday (made by robbins) and will be tightened up a little more by the time you win it.. The conv. top seals are all present, and in decent condition. There is no evidence of prior accident damage anywhere. The exhaust is quiet, and it doesn't smoke or drip any oil. It has a fresh oil change to take you anywhere you wish to go. The carpet is in excellent condition for it's age. There are no cracks in the dash. All of the cluster buttons are present. Both of the console compartment doors are present and working(most Geos have these broke off and missing). All the locks work as do the inner and outer door handles. The door panels aren't faded like most. The seats show well for their age, one burn in each seat, but overall in excellent condition. The convertible top goes up and down like it should. The seat belts work as they should.. The windshield is in excellent shape with no cracks or chips and is exceptionally clear.. The side windows have minimal scratches, and do go up and down as they should. The passenger side, however, does need a little help going down sometimes. All of the lights work as they should, including the blinkers, brake, running, and headlights. It does have the factory original radio. The trunk area is very clean with the spare, jack, and original tools still packaged. This Geo does not have any of the known problems that most Geos have. The control arm mounts are solid, and there is no evidence of rust ever being there. Under the hood is very clean, the seam at the top of strut mounts, which is another usual rust area is also clean. The floor boards are original with no evidence of any metal replacement or repair ever being done. This Geo has BRAND NEW factory yellow paint, and the emblems reinstalled. They have no chrome missing and are not peeling like most. Double black pinstripe accents the body line. DON'T MISS OUT! This is a gem. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! Also, I can bring the car down to Detroit Metro Airport, which is an hour south , for a nominal fee. Let the pictures speak for themselves.
