I am selling this car for my dad. I'm giving all the information I have on it and some history on the car as well. If you have any other questions please feel free to email me. I've photographed all areas needing visible repair on the car and posted them. I'd like to address those issues first: This solid Volvo 760 currently has a gasket leak which needs repaired. It runs and is inspected till December of this year. The interior has some expected wear it is in what I would call good shape and has not been smoked in. The rear tail light cover is cracked and there is wear on the drivers seat - as you can see in the pictures. The headliner is sagging but it's not torn or stained. That sums up the notable issues that we know about. My dad bought this car for a daily driver partly because his brother had a Volvo for 25 years and put about a million miles on it without really having to repair anything. Dad was looking for a long term car that he would never have to spend money on. He drove this for a while and then had to put a radiator in it and replaced some of the hoses that started leaking (you can see pictures of the new radiator and hose connections.) Dad is in a really tight financial situation so when this car developed the current leak, he threw in the towel. I owed him some money so I gave him my extra car so he could have a daily driver and I'm selling this Volvo for him. I've driven it a few times and it's a solid car. The interior has the feel of Volvo quality despite it's age and honestly I'm surprised how good it looks inside. The trunk has a rubber liner to protect from spills and also has a retractable cover to keep stuff out of the sun. It has an aftermarket Panasonic head unit. There is no body rust that I can find. You may notice some bumps in some of the lower body shots, which are water since it had just rained when I took the pics. The factory tool kit has most of the accessories still in it - the kit mounts in the trunk. There is a sun roof and roof rack for securing gear for transport. The power seat and other power accessories work, and the tires still have decent tread on them. Blue book values for this car range from 1500 - 3000 depending on transaction type (retail or private party). If you have any questions, let me know. On Aug-01-10 at 10:46:07 PDT, seller added the following information: To clear up some questions: The gasket leak mentioned above refers to a head gasket leak diagnosed by my mechanic. The repair was estimated at 200 for the gasket set and 400 for the labor. On Aug-03-10 at 14:13:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Also - the car has a "brand new" exhaust system from the turbo back. Brand new as of December 2009 to pass state inspection. The mass air flow sensor was also replaced.
