1999 Chevy Silverado Z71, Extended Cab, Short Bed Pewter Exterior, Gray Leather Interior I am the original owner and purchased new in June 1999. This truck is in very good condition. I am only selling the great truck since my family is growing. It has never been smoked in and has never had fire or water damage or been exposed to salt water. Engine runs like a champ and has never failed to start. Transmission, transfer case and all electronics function perfectly. The color is great because it hardly shows dirt & has only minor cosmetic blemishes. The leather seats are in great shape as well (pic below). There are a couple minor door dings in the passenger side rear door, and the clear coat is starting to peel by the bed cap on the passenger side (pics below). Window tint is showing some age but has a lifetime warranty (3M). Couple of minor dents over the years--only 'accident' was when an elderly lady bumped my driver side on the freeway-repaired by Chevy dealer. No history of frame damage. All maintanance has been kept up, and I have used synthetic oil (Mobil 1, now Royal Purple). AC system and fan clutch replaced last year, as well as fuel filter and tranmission fluid flush and change. The door speakers were replaced by Alpine 3-ways last year. This year I also placed a new battery (DuraLast 1000CCA) and got a new remote key fob from the dealer. Last check-up by local Chevy dealer this Summer showed no obvious areas in need or repair or replacement (brakes, belts, hoses). Factory Equipment: 5.3L Vortec V8, 4WD, Z71 Off-Road Package, LS, CD radio, power seats and windows, leather seating, cruise control, 3rd rear door, 4 speed auto transmission, 4.10 axle ratio. This truck has below average mileage for its age. It will make someone a great truck for years to come. I am truly sad to part with it, but a growing family dictates a change in vehicles. I am listing this truck near Blue Book value (~$9200-9700), which does not include most of the enhancements or upgrade modifications I have made (or the brand new set of tires for $1000).
