Vehicle Condition This 1989 Ford E-250 Cargo Van is a rare find for the person who needs to work with this van and haul heavy loads. There are not many of these heavy duty vans around that have not been converted. With only 72,000 miles this van was not over-used. It has served as a delivery vehicle for our family business, a large film studio for many years. The body of this Econoline is in good condition with no signs of significant rust. There are a number of body dings and dents primarily in the side cargo door. The front bumper is bent on the passenger side. Front left door and fender show signs of repaint. There has been no major collision damage to the frame of the vehicle. The 5.0 Liter V8 engine still performs reliably. The automatic transmission feels solid and has never shown any signs of a problem. The steering and suspension are tight and responsive, and show no signs of excessive or improper wear or abuse. The tires are in good condition including the spare. The van is equipped with factory A/C but it is not functioning. The van has always passed the yearly New York State inspection process. The interior of this van is in fair but clean condition as can be seen from the photos. The original seat vinyl is holding up well but has started to show some seam breakage at the base of the drivers seat. The cargo bed has been well used but it is intact and shows no sign of rust through or similar damage. Manual windows work and all glass is intact. Overall this heavy duty Ford E-250 Van would make an excellent choice for anyone needing a tough work vehicle capable of carrying a covered cargo.
