Vehicle Detail
Super clean 1996 Caprice classic with just under 92,500 miles. This is a fully optioned car with everything but the sun roof. Power split front seat, power steering, power door locks with remote, power windows, power trunk with remote, tilt wheel, variable windshield wipers, 4.3 L V8, automatic transmission with overdrive (4L60E), center console armrest, dual cup holders, puddle lamps in the doors, auto tint rear view mirror with map lights, leather wrapped steering wheel, ABS, and wood grain dash console and door trim. I maybe forgetting some options. The paint is original. No body work or painting has ever been done on this car. The passenger side mirror was knocked off once and replaced by the local Chevrolet dealership with no painting involved. There are some nicks, dings and very minor scratches. You would have to really be looking to see most of them however. There is one noticeable scrape on the rear bumper that was touched up with "Duplicolor" brush on paint, as were a couple of the scratches. It's a pretty good match. The interior is the original Burgundy leather. The leather is soft, pliable and free of defects. There are NO rips, tears, snags or holes in the leather. There is no radio. The door panels are in good. The carpet shows some wear in the drivers area. Head liner is good and the dome light is in working order. There are a few small holes that were drilled by the previous owner. The car runs and drives beautifully. The engine is strong and the trans shifts smoothly. Starts every time you turn the key with out fail. There are no check engine lights. Three of the windows fall out of their tracks and need help. The plastic retainer clips on the end of the actuators are broken. I have all new clips and have already replaced both on the drivers door. I've been told that a mechanic would charge about $75 per door to fix this. I don't know for sure, I've just been told by another Caprice owner. NOTE: The car passed Califronia SMOG about a month ago which clears it for another 2 years. Also, the title is clean, clear and registered through September. Please feel free to ask any and all questions you would like. And if your local, come take a look and a test drive. You won't be disapointed!
