ALL ORIGINAL AND VERY SOLID 1965 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS F85 HARDTOP. RARE FACTORY FLOOR SHIFT, BUCKET SEATS, AIR CONDITIONING AND POWER STEERING!!! WELCOME TO ANOTHER "NO RESERVE" AUCTION !! Here is a perfect candidate for your 442 clone, muscle car restoration or father/son project. This Cutlass should be considered just a solid project car as it is non-running and obviously not a daily driver!! This auction also has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! This Olds has been in our indoor storage since 1995. It is still in original condition, but is unrestored and does have its mechanical needs, please consider this when placing your bid. Cosmetically, this Cutlass body is so straight, it is a easy 8-9 on a scale of 1-10. The only actual body work needed are 2 simple fixes- the driver fender and a smaller repairable "wave" on the passenger door (see pics). The rest of the body is very straight and near perfect! Upon inspection you will see that there is no rust or rot on this car, it is very solid with no more than sandable surface "sun" rust. The floors and undercarriage look excellent! Every piece of trim, molding and stainless is intact and on the car, I do see a small "ding" on the drivers wheel well molding and a few small dings on the front bumper. The trunk and glove box locks need replaced. All glass is in nice shape. Original factory color was a light metallic blue. The interior is original and will obviously need redone. This is a rare factory bucket seat and floor shift car!! The original center console with Tach went missing from the car sometime after I stored it. Mechanically, the factory shortblock and auto transmission are still sitting in the car. The engine will need to be gone thru and I have the entire top end and all the original engine parts together, ready for rebuild and they have been placed securely in the trunk for shipping (see pics). Plan on a complete rebuild as the engine has sat indoors with the heads off for the last 3 years. This is a factory A/C and P/S car! The torque convertor in the pics DOES NOT go with the car, it is for my 442 and should have not been in the pics! I have in hand the clean and clear California title on this Cutlass. I have placed the vehicle on non-op status with DMV, so no back fees are due. Original black plates will be left on the car.
