1967 Ford Mustang Fastback After years of research and building we finally finished the BULLITT Mustang. Teaming up with Year One, Goodmark Industries, Edelbrock, and Hot Rod Television, Picture Car Warehouse has built one of the most accurate Bullitt Tribute mustangs around. Follow the photos documenting the build! It debuted at the Steve Mcqueen fundraiser at the boys republic where Chad Mcqueen signed the dash to top off the show! This Bullitt mustang is flawless and is all new from the front bumper to the rear. We took a mid 60’s 390 block and rebuilt it, then installed an edelbrock cam and lifters, aluminum heads, chrome intake and carburetor. Custom built headers with a Flowmaster exhaust. The engine and flywheel clutch and pressure plate were balanced. It has a 4 speed transmission, new driveshaft and rebuilt rearend. Radiator is new! brakes are new! Front end including springs is new. Installed a new gas tank and sending unit. All new moldings on the highland green basecoat clear coat paint job. We powder coated the side rocker moldings and rear taillight bezels in matte black and finished off the tail panel in the same matte black. The interior started with the deluxe interior package. The dash cluster has been redone including the tach and had quartz works installed on the back of the factory clock. It has a Woodgrain dash. Seat pads and vinyl are new, carpet is new, headliner is new. installed a cobra steering wheel, and an am-fm radio! Dash pad is new, heater core is new! The mustang is shod with 225/70/ 15s and 6” American Racing Torque thrust mag wheels with black inserts to give them the aging that those wheels had in the day! Bullitt is bad ass, very fast and not for the faint of heart! Car was featured in a recent edition of Hot Rod Television and the feeling I got chasing the black charger was amazing! This car is a new car and is priced as such! No expense was spared in the parts used in the build of this car and no corners were cut in the building process. The car has gone 190 miles since we finished it and is ready to hit the highway or strip! We had it dynode at Jennings dyno in North Hills, it hit and pulled over 400 HP at the rear wheels from 4800 thru 5500 rpms. Please no questions about gas mileage! The car has manual steering and manual disc brakes. This is not a pro touring car, it is Bullitt the way Steve McQueen liked it. Bid and buy this car! You will not be disappointed!
