Description: You are bidding on: a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe Up for your consideration is a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe - COMPLETE. This vehicle is definitely a project vehicle, but has good bones. The drive train is STRONG -- powered by a 289 ci V8, which has been bored over .30", has a mild cam, Carter 4bbl, roller lifters, C6 automatic transmission - finished off by 4.11 gears in the rear. This Mustang would make an excellent drag car or show car once it was completed. This Mustang runs and drives - the previous owner drove it as a daily driver in this condition. I am selling this vehicle as TMU (true miles unknown), but the miles are exempt anyway because of this car's age. According to the VIN (my daughter is a Mustang NUT and knows this stuff), here is how the numbers break down: 5: 1965 F: Made in Dearborn, Michigan 07: Mustang hardtop T: 200 ci 6cyl; 1bbl 644513: serial number (production run) You can also verify this information at: www.decodethis.com As the photos show, the interior is good -- the seats are in great shape, but the carpeting needs to be replaced. The color is black inside. The exterior color is a dark blue, but is heavily oxidized and has turned a black color. There is exterior rust (as shown in the photos), but NEW QUARTER PANELS come WITH THIS VEHICLE. As far as I know, the frame rails, floor pans and truck bottom are solid. NADA value: $8,000 rough. I know this is too much for this car, so I am asking for the best offer over $3200.00!
