2002 Chevy 3500 dually. LT package. I bought this truck in march 2010. Everything in the truck works. A/C, power windows, cruise control, cassette player with CD, onstar,leather, dual power seats. it has the tubular running boards, Line X bed liner, towing package, it has the premium chevy LTZ chrome wheels. Tires are brand new bought 2 months ago. All 4 shocks, brake pads, front rotors, sway bar bushings, all fluids were changed in march. It has a B&W goose neck hitch that is rated for 30000 pounds that has never been used. The truck was driven to the chevrolet dealership because it was not running right. After scanning the truck computer the dealership says the fuel injectors need to be changed. This truck is out of the 7 year/200000 mile warranty so chevy will not do the work for free. I don't have the money to fix the truck so i am selling it AS IS. I have included pictures of the dealership quote to fix and the diagnosis. I have used the truck to move my boat from my house to the boat landing. I have sold my boat so i have no use for a dually so there is no need for me to pay $5630 to fix it. Dealer prices are to high any way. I know somebody can fix this cheaper or fix it themselves so this is a good chance for somebody to get a good deal on a truck. This truck is not a piece of junk and i have all dealership paperwork for the life of the truck since 2002. The interior is in excellant shape with no rips or anything in the leather. The exterior is the same no dents of cracks anywhere. The injector problem is a GM defect that GM knows about which is why they raised the warranty to 7 years-200000 miles and anybody who owns an LB7 duramax 2001-2004 should know about this problem. Please research the issue if you don't belive me. You should get plenty to read. Most 2001 to 2004.5 model year duramax LB7 engines have this problem. There is not a recall for this problem. GM has only extended the warranty on the injectors to 7 years or 200000 miles. This truck is 8 years old and GM will not make any exceptions on repairing this issue even though the truck only has 113600 miles on it. The dealership has advised me not to drive it to avoid any further issues. There are no other problems with the truck. I would like to keep the truck but i do not have the money to fix it and also i have sold my boat so i no longer have a use for a dually.
