Need a beater to save wear and tear on your other car? Need a grocery-getter that is cheap to buy and insure? This car may be for you. The Pros: This car is all original. It starts and runs well. The engine still pulls hard. The clutch and transmission are in great shape. Simple and reliable. Easy to work on. Parts are inexpensive and available. Great Mileage. Good tires and brakes. Always passes Illinois emissions testing. The Cons: Leaks a little oil. Burns a little oil. Driver side front brake caliper is sticking, but works. Rust on most body panels. Needs a new battery. Windshield leaks at top when sitting in rain. Parking brake sticks. A/C currently inoperative-but works when recharged. Vehicle can be picked up from me.
