The truck has a rich history with only having two owners and only 71,000 miles. The last owner bought the truck on July 30th 1980. I don’t think he would have ever parted with it but he is no longer here. He passed away April 13th 2009. The truck was an original southern Tennessee vehicle its entire life until now. It has never seen snow or salt or any other fowl condition. This vehicle is a time capsule or some may say a true survivor. EQUIPMENT The F100 came in three trim levels in 1967. The Custom Cab was the mid grade level. This was also the first run for the new body style that was used for 6 years. The new style had a lot softer more round bodylines than previous years. It also had a car like comfort level but still had the utility. The F100 truck also had several different engine options and this one got the big boy. It has the 5.8L 352 CI V8, which was also know as the “Interceptor”. This engine made over 200 horses with a two-barrel and over 300 horses with a 4-barrel carburetor. This truck has the smooth ride and the sound of just mean and enough power to do anything you want. This truck shows no signs of ever being repaired for rust or collision. The truck has had a recent repaint and the trim has been re-chrome plated or polished. The rest of the truck including the rubber floor mat is 100% original and shows like new as you can see from the pictures. The truck drives great, stops great and handles superb. It doesn’t leak any type of fluids and it also does not use any. I would say the truck needs nothing and could be driven across county. This is a very nice classic truck in very rare condition. A true turn key investment that will only appreciate as time goes on. AUCTION DETAILS This auction is a reserve type auction. The reserve will not be disclosed until it has been met. This is the only way to be fair to all buyers. I do reserve the option to accept any early offer and add a Buy-It-Now price for that buyer.
