This car has traveled only 54,000 pampered miles since new, and would make a great addition to any collection. 1982 is the last year of the “C3” body style. A special “Collectors Edition” Corvette commemorated the occasion. Exclusive to the Collector Edition was a frameless hatchback, supported by gas struts making access to the storage area much easier. In addition, a distinctive two-tone silver-beige (#59) paint was also part of the Collector Edition with a gradient or "fading shadow" motif on the side (above) and hood (below). A clear lacquer topcoat added gloss and depth. Distinctive cloisonné emblems completed the package. The look was unique and years later are still positively embraced. This car is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, having just recieved new front brakes, and a tuneup. The original 350 CID motor runs as it should and the engine compartment is well detailed. The distinctive leather interior shows well with little wear, and the carpets look good. It is obvious that this car was taken car of by a collector and has rarely seen rain or snow. All of her mechanical systems work, as they should, the a/c blows cold!!! The paint is excellent with few blemishes, and great shine and depth. Other details: a leather wrapped steering wheel, distinctive door trim, special bronze tinting on the glass roof panels and a leather covered horn button. She also has her original window sticker.
