1953 Chrysler New Yorker with the 331 Hemi engine that sounds nice and loud, has the semi-automatic transmission, the engine runs and the trans seems to shift as it suppose, i have only driven this car in a parking lot, i bought it with the intentions of just pulling the engine but this car is not to bad at all, all it needs is a bit of care which i can't afford at this time, i invested about $600.00 in brakes alone. The body is not to bad, it is not a rust bucket for its age is in very good conditions, however, it does need a coat of paint, the glass is crack free all over, the brakes were replaced from cylinders to brake shoes, rotors and brake lines were fixed as needed, they need to be bleeded, the muffler needs to be fixed, it is missing a piece about 6". The interior is not bad, you could leave the interior alone for a while. The only real sad thing about this car is that i do not have a title, i bought it with a bill of sale, check your local Dmv to see if you can get a title in your state.
