1958 Porsche Speedster Replica Titled as a 1958 Porsche Speedster Replica - I was told this body is a CMC ( Classic Motor Carriage )It was built in AZ - then finished in the Midwest in 2004Pretty fresh 1835cc with dual Weber 44's and electronic fuel pump 4 Speed w/ center console and Empi Shifter ( i think its empi ) Sitting on a 1969 Volkswagen Bettle / Bug Pan Adjustable front end. Car is lowered in the front and the back Drum Brakes Heater Channels are functional and the heat works Originally RED gelgoat maybe - car was repainted Artic Silver in 2004 - Has some chips / from being a driver - Wide 5 Bolt pattern with steel wheels / porsche hubcaps - Great tires Black interior - seats have a few tears Back seat has a seat belt - front have lap belts as well 3 year old top and side curtains ( have receipts cost like $700 in parts, $300 in labor ) Top is perfect. There is no Carpet installed I bought this in Kansas City - drove it home 31/2 hours in 95 degree heat - ran flawlessly - 70-75 MPH average for the drive.. Runs great.. mechanically very sound - get in and go.. Paint is ok - maybe give it a 8 would be a 9 but there are a few chips where the original red is coming through.. only noticed 1 fiberglass spider back by rear bumper. Interior - seats are comfy - driver side has small tear - passenger seat is pretty bad Has a decent Blahpunt Cd player with speakers in the door - sounds good you can actually hear the music when going down interstate. That about it -Located in Lincoln Nebraska currently - 68502 is my zip code You dont see these Replica's as affordable as this - it could use some work on the interior and touch up the paint or just drive it and enjoy it this summer! Things that need attention: No Carpet Rear Engine Lid Latch is not hooked up / cable is still there but the pin is removed Driver side seat has small tear / passenger side seat has a large seam tear Tail-lights are cracked - they are still available for $45 new each Few bumps and scratches on paint - as mentioned nothing horrible this car is a driver. Rear engine lid does not stay up by itself / hood prop included in front end GOOD THINGS: Car is RELIABLE - New clutch cable - Newer Top - Newer Tires - MOTOR IS SOLID - it is a blast to drive - SOLD AS IS WHERE IS - NO INTERNATIONAL SALES - BUYER MUST ARRANGE FOR PICK UP OR SHIPPING OF THE CAR.
