Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GORGEOUS LOOKING 1960 CHEVY IMPALA 2 DOOR COUPE WITH FRESHLY REBUILT 348CI V8 MOTOR AND RARE TRI-POWER CARBURETION THAT RUNS/DRIVES SUPER, AND YOU CAN HOP IN AND TAKE IT CRUISING AT YOUR LEISURE ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. FACTORY OPTIONS: Manual steering Manual drum brakes Dual exhaust Stock 348ci V8 motor Stock Automatic transmission on the column Stock AM radio White bench seat interior Fender skirts RARE tri-power setup GM tissue dispenser This 1960 Impala has had a TON of work done to it as you can clearly see in the pictures. Starting with the outside, it has been freshly painted in the last 5-6 years by professional shop and all the trim was removed at time of painting. Real nice coat of paint on this car. Beautifully straight with great panel fit and lines. Lots of the trim has been replaced as well. The weather-stripping was redone by Soft-Seal and is high-quality. Interior has been freshnened up with a NEW headliner, NEW carpet. Underside has been completely coated and is virtually rust-free with great floorboards and a nice and solid trunk. I've done a lot of the interior and some outer trim tlc to this car and had my mechanic professionally install a 1960 dated tri-power intake manifold with freshly rebuilt 2bbl. carburetors. This car FLIES down the road once you step on the gas. Interior is in GOOD overall condition. Seats in good shape with minor wear. Door panels very presentable. NEW carpet, NEW headliner. Overall a nicely presentable high-end driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the stock 348ci motor (THIS IS A FACTORY 348 CAR) that runs beautifully. It is bone stock, including the original generator. The only thing that has bee added was the period correct tri-power setup (I have the original intake that goes with the car). Transmission has been upgraded from a 2 speed Powerglide to a TH-350 (I have the original tranny if the buyer wants it). BOTH THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT APPROX. 3000 MILES AGO AND PERFORM LIKE NEW! The car runs/drives beautifully and starts at the turn of the key. Runs great and idles great. Transmission shifts nice and smooth. Brakes stop well. Steering is nice and nimble and the car rides very well. I've taken it around town and on the highway several times and it has never let me down. There's no way I can describe how much fun this car is once you put your foot to the metal (I had my mechanic set up the carburetors so that they all work in unisom, intead of just having the center one work most of the time, therefore the car is a ROCKETSHIP). Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up EXCELLENT with good luster for a nice driver but it has some small imperfections as you would expect. Not working: horn, radio, perhaps a couple of bulbs may need replacing. Missing: driver's side door glass, seatbelts, steering wheel center section, kick panels, antenna, spare/jack. Three tiny bubbles by rear wheel well, that's the only rust on this whole car. That's about all I was able to notice. It may need a few other tiny things as any other used car, so please keep that in mind.
