Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A DROP DEAD GORGEOUS LOOKING CANDY RED 1968 PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER 440CI BIG BLOCK 575HP STREET BEAST WITH 75K MILES SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER, AND YOU CAN HOP IN AND TAKE IT CRUISING AT YOUR LEISURE ANYTIME. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Manual brakes Dual exhaust UPGRADED 440ci 4bbl. motor (originally 383ci car) Factory automatic transmission on the column Bench seat Hood stripes & hood pins 15" WELD DRAGLITE aluminum wheels with white letter radial tires This 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner has been a personal toy to a fellow in Ohio that owned a car dealership. He sold mostly new cars, but had a bug to own a classic mopar so he invested a good deal of his own time, money and love into this amazing street car. It has had an older body-on restoration by the previous owner within the last 12-14 years. I did very little to this car other than clean it and do some minor tuning. The motor/tranny combo were professionally built at a famous speed show in VA, and had been dynoed at close to 575hp, but I don't have any paperwork unfortunately. There has been some serious internals and external add-ons as you can clearly see. All brand name parts including MSD 6AL ignition module, MSD Pro-Billet distributor, MSD Blaster ignition coil, custom plugs/wires, high-flow electric fuel pump, Edelbrock aluminum intake, 750cfm Holley carburetor, long-tube headers into Flowmaster dual exhaust with chrome tips, Milodon oil pan, Holley fuel pressure regulator, external tranny cooler, Optima battery, and that's just a list of the things I can see. Internally the motor received performance pistons, 0.060 overbore, some head work and performance camshaft to name a few. The list goes on and on... Interior is in VERY GOOD overall condition. Seats in good shape with no rips. Steering wheel is newer (comes completely off as an added security measure). Dash is very good. Door panels are very presentable minor wear. Carpet is older but still nicely presentable. Good headliner. Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood, the stock 383 is long gone, replaced by a fire-breathing 440ci/575hp beast of a motor that runs on premium pump gas or better. The car runs/drives beautifully and starts at the turn of the key. Runs great and idles great. Transmission shifts nicely. Brakes stop well although pedal is low. Steering is nice and nimble but there's some play in the steering box. I've taken it around town and on the highway a few of times and it has never let me down. Plenty of power and great acceleration! Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up WELL with good luster for a nice driver but it has various small imperfections as you would expect from driving. This is not a super shiny coat of paint, it's more like stock without a ton of gloss, like the factory had when these came out. BODY IS VERY NICE & STRAIGHT. A handful if tiny bubbles at base corners of rear window and perhaps a couple of door corners, but very faint. Underside has minor surface rust in a couple of places but seems to have SOLID FLOORS and SOLID FRAME throughout as well as a NICE trunk pan (with some chipping of older speckle paint). Missing: spare, jack, antenna, hood inserts, seatbelts. Chrome is very presentable, but not show quality. Could use one new motor mount I believe. Not working: horn, speedo, radio, could use a couple of bulbs replaced here and there. That's about all I was able to notice. It may need a few other tiny things as any other used car, so please keep that in mind. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY GREAT LOOKING 1968 PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER WITH HEART-THUMPING 440CI/575HP MOTOR, 75K MILES SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER AND A KILLER COLOR COMBO, SO YOU CAN'T MISS IT ANYWHERE YOU TAKE IT. SUPER CLEAN DRIVER THAT YOU CAN HAVE A TON OF FUN WITH OR DO SOME TLC AND MAKE IT PERFECT!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
