Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GREAT LOOKING AND HOT RED 1963 FORD GALAXIE 500 SUNLINER CONVERTIBLE WITH GREAT RUNNING 302 V8 MOTOR SHOWING 47,262 MILES ON THE ODOMETER, AND ONE FINE BOULEVARD OR HIGHWAY CRUISER!!!. VERY SHARP CONVERTIBLE THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory options: Power Steering Manual Brakes Power convertible top Fender skirts Standard bench seat interior Stock 302ci 2V motor Dual exhaust Stock automatic transmission on the column Stock steel wheels with radial tires Vehicle comes from Michigan, and is now in NY in my garage for the last few months. This is an older restoration on a pretty solid and straight 63 Galaxie. When I got it, I cleaned it up a little. Sent it to my show to have the body lightly wetsanded and buffed out and a few spots that were bubbling were repainted and then color matched. Mechanically, we installed a brand new 2V Ford carburtor and adjusted the idle, timing and tuned it a bit. Fender skirts were installed and overall the car was cleaned up as needed. This is a nearly TURN-KEY driver that you can get in and enjoy now! Under the hood lies a stock 302ci motor that has NOT been upgraded in any way other than regular servicing. Transmission is the standard 3 speed automatic on the column. It starts up beautifully and runs excellent. Keeps great idle and runs nicely with no smoke that I was able to notice. Interior is in GOOD and mostly original condition with general wear here and there. Seats are nice with no rips, just sun faded a bit. Door panels are the same. Carpet is older but presentable. Dash pad is good. Convertible top is older and cleans up well but has a couple of tiny slits down the rear sides and foggy rear window. Overall a fairly presentable driver quality interior! Mechanically, the car is TURN-KEY and drives pretty well. I've mostly driven it around town and a few times on the highway and it performs pretty good. Always starts at the turn of the key, gets decent gas mileage if you drive it normally, and is very easy to drive with power steering and good brakes. Brakes stop well. It's a nice cruiser as mentioned before. Being nearly a 45+ year old car, it is NOT perfect my any means. Paint shines up fairly well for a driver, with general small imperfections from driving as you would expect. Has had some areas repainted and color matched but it overall looks good. Rear bumper is a bit pushedin on one side, hard to notice at first. Chrome is presentable but obviously not perfect. Underside is pretty solid with GOOD floors and frame with minor surface rust. SOLID trunk with no holes just a couple of small patches. There is an exhaust leak coming from somewhere. Windshield has a crack down the middle. Convertible top works up and down but has cracked on left side frame, which I will try and fix before auction ends if I can. That's about all I was able to notice. IT'S A VERY NICE CAR WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DRIVE IT AS IS OR DO VERY MINOR TLC TO BRING IT UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
