1989 Honda Gold Wing

You are bidding on a beautiful 1989 Honda Gold Wing GL1500. I recently aquired this bike from an 83 year old gentleman that bought this bike new in 1989 from a dealer in South Carolina. He is a retired aeronautical engineer from the Air Force and Lockheed-Martin Aerospace. His first initials are O.B.. His friends associated him with O.B. from Star Wars Movies. This explains the custom hand painted graphics on the bike. It is stunning! O.B. has put every conceivable option on this bike imaginable. The trailer was the first production model built by Morrih Trailer Company. O.B. sold this bike to me because he just had dual knee surgery and is going to purchase a trike next after he rehabilitates. Since my purchasing the bike I basically did a little cleaning , detailing, and a good coat of wax. The bike was obviously garaged all it's life as can be seen by the condition of the paint and chrome. I took the bike to our local Certified Honda expert and had him go thru every system on the bike and perform a complete tune up and brake service. The Bike runs awesome and sounds wonderful with the custom exaust system. The tires have great tread but are older and will eventually need to be replaced. I have a new front windshield I purchased and should be receiving it in the next couple of days. It is the tall version, clear with air vent. I am including with the sale all original plastic parts that were replaced with the chrome versions (see Pic). I also have the original seat covers if the new owner would like to change it out.
