Vehicle Detail

Your bidding on a numbers matching 1969 Dodge Charger. #'s matching 383 (rebuilt by previous owner) and #'s matching 727 (rebuilt by previous owner) with console. Southern California car all it's life until I bought it about 4 years ago. The car has typical rust on the trunk floor and lower window area shown by pictures. Also area of rust in extreme lower bottom area of quarter panel behind and ahead of rear wheels. The cabin floors are solid, as well as the frame rails, fenders and doors. Small rust hole in top of left quarter panel near the fuel cap (picture). The car has power steering, power disc brakes, A/C and is a R4 red with black vinyl top and interior with center console. I bought the car about 4 years ago but ended up with too many projects. This is the nicest B body I have. The previous owner had the engine and transmission rebuilt. They look very clean & fresh but would be a good idea to drop the pan or pull the heads off or even boroscope the pistons and cylinders. The front end is as clean as can be with rebuilt blasted, painted with new bushings, shocks and all new brake components-calipers, discs, drums etc front and rear (all done by previous owner). I have two boxes of parts that go with the car, that I got with the car like A/C lines, compressors, exhaust manifolds, sway bar etc. I have no air cleaner. I have the built sheet and the fender tag (picture). I assembled the interior with the console the best I could so you can see what it needs, like new seat covers, door panels, dash pad etc. I do have new front and rear bumpers still in the boxes (no photo) and a new correct fuel tank still in the box that go with the car. I reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime as this car is advertised locally. Please e-mail with any questions before bidding at moparsinc@q.com (will not respond to spam e-mail). A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required within 3 days of the auction closing. The remainder of the funds will be agreed upon, however, if a cashiers check a wait of 5-7 business days may be needed for verification to clear. If sold internationally all arrangements for shipping must be made by the buyer. The car is sold as is, no warranty, no refunds, please bid to buy. Thank you have good luck bidding!!On Jul-19-10 at 07:57:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to make it clear, as mentioned the engine and tranny were rebuilt by the previous owner, and had not been run while I had the car, no plug wires and wiring harness not hooked up. I don't know if the engine had been run after the rebuild that's why I suggested the pan (oil pan) be dropped or the heads popped off for inspection. I believe the motor and tranny were rebuilt then installed in place. The glass is all installed in the car, however, the windshield appears to be original and is cracked. The odometer reads 29,370, not sure, but would believe it would be accurate. Again, please ask any questions before bidding, thank you.
