Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a car I am listing for a friend. 1954 Ford Anglia/popular 2 door coupe. My friend bought this to turn it into a gasser. He bought it as you see it. The car is 95% complete. It is missing the bumpers, windshield wipers and original steering wheel. But everything else is there. It was never modified or hacked up. The body on the car is in REALLY good condition for the age. There is only 1 small rot hole in the back of the trunk,on the inside. This model of the car had partial wooden floors.it came that way.The undercarriage is nice and clean,Body is overall solid.Car looks to have the original tires on it.My friend said the car did start and run.The trans seems to engage,it rolls freely when you push it.The doors open and close and all the glass is in tact. The vinyl roof looks ok too.The doors are nice and have no rot.The rear fenders look ok from the outside but the owner told me that they have rust inside them. These fenders bolt on this car and can be removed in minutes. The 2 front fenders are good and the rest of the car is excellent. Also there are holes on the bottoms of all for fenders. They are from someone who had running boards on it. This will make an excellent rod or restore vehicle.I can only stress that you set up a time to come see it in person to see if you like it and it will work for you.Obviously it will need to be towed. It has not been started in a long time and probably hasnt seen the road in 20+ years. There are extra door panels and parts included,Just some small odds and ends.Nothing has been stripped off the car. Most likely some gas and a little patience and it will fire up. The title is an open title signed off by the person he bought it from. The part for the buyer is open and I believe virginia is not a notary state. So it should be no problem to transfer it where you live. But please confirm before you buy! You may call my cell with questions you have and I will try to answer them the best I can. The reserve I think is set low and reasonable. It is hard to see a car this together anymore. The car is located in greenfield PA which is 10 miles north of Scranton My cell is 570-604-8763 A $200 non refundable deposit must be paid within 48 hours of auction end.And the remainder must be paid within 7 days.If time is needed to remove the car that can be discussed with the seller. He is reasonable and it shouldnt be an issue.
