What we have here is one (1) 1971 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. I am not sure if this is what they called a "Super Beetle" or not. I am not a VW enthusiast or mechanic, and I will be as forthcoming as I can with information on this car. So if you have any questions, please ask before bidding. As you can see from the pictures, the car is in good shape for being 39 years old. This car has NOT been restored. The car has been sitting for about 3 years in a garage. Before that there was about $1300 worth of work done on the car. Here are some of the things that were done: new gas tank, new fuel guage, new carb, intake bolts, intake gaskets, points, windshield wiper motor, fuel filter and lines, two front brake hoses, two rear brake hoses, four brake springs, two wheel cylinders, break drums have been turned. This work was done at Keith's VW in Nitro, WV. Some of the things that I know are wrong with the car...it has a small oil leak (people tell me that this is from sitting a long time and that it's common...I am not sure), the driver side window does not roll up correctly (it goes up and down with a little help), its missing one chrome tail pipe. It idles a little rough, probably from sitting so long. The horn does not work. The top seems to be in good shape, interior seems to be in good shape for the year...no rips. I am selling this car for my girlfriend's mother who no longer has an interest in it. I have receipts for all of the work done and a clear WV title. This is a great car for someone that has the time to finish it. The mileage that I stated is probably not correct, I do not know the actual mileage of the car.
