That Body Change Carried Porsche Through The Next Decades And Still The More Desired And Expensive Porsches Are The Wide Bodied Cars And The Turbos! This First Year USA Turbo Porsche Is a True Collector and Is Just Beginning To Be Recognized. The 3.0 Turbos Were Only Produced In 1976 And 1977 (Plus 200 European Cars in 1975) Before Porsche Increased The Displacement To 3.3 Litres To "Tame The Beast" By Spreading Out The Power Curve. The 3.3 Turbos Were Used All The Way Up To 1994 When They Introduced The 3.6! Okay, Enough History! This Car, #452, Is Beautiful! While Maintaining Its Overall Originality It Has A Couple Tasteful OEM Upgrades For Safety. The Wheels Are Polished 16" Porsche Turbo Wheels And The Brakes Are Later Model Turbo Brakes As Well. Both Are Done With Safety In Mind And Are "Appropriate" Well Respected Changes In The Porsche Community, Especially With The "Drivers/ Collectors" Crowd . This Car Has A Completely Rebuilt, Original # Matching Engine ($14,000), B&B Stainless Exhaust Monifolds With Heat Exchangers, GHL Muffler (Great Sound!)($4,500), And Many Other Niceities! The Owner Before Me Put $56,700 Into This Car And I've Added To That Just To Tidy It Up. The Car Comes With 2 Covers And A Set Of Sheets! The First Cover Is A Technalon Fabric Cover Specifically For This Car.
