Ford is bragging about 40mpg cars,well wolfsburg put those out 30 years ago.Welcome to progress detroit.This rabbit was delivered with a 1.6 liter diesel[non turbo],a 4speed standart transmission,clothseats and an airconditioner that still blows cold.Seats and carpet are still original but faded.The car has been repainted blue,it originally was silver.Custom 15 inch alloy wheels have been added.The dashboard has some cracks,the cardboard headliner is funky ,the starter works off a remote switch and there are some normal dings and scuffs.All in all this is a good running car,i drove it as a daily driver for 2 months without problems.Filling up the tank makes you feel smart every time.It gets 45mpg,50 if you make a sport out of it.For questions please call dirk at 214/707 9525.texas retail buyers have to pay state issued tax title and licensefees.SorryOn Jul-16-10 at 16:32:26 PDT, seller added the following information: there seems to be some confusion about the vin denoting a diesel.The title is stamped diesel,the badge reads rabbit diesel and the dash has the little glowplug sign,that goes off after the rudolf diesel memorial minute.everything under the hood looks factory.Maybe ebay is wrong ,they never get the shipping right either.
