2008 CHRYSLER 300C 5.7L HEMI V8 - HIGH FEATURES PACKAGE We are selling our fully-loaded 2008 Chrysler 300C. This vehicle is pearl-metallic silver in color with a beautiful black leather interior and a wood trim. It is a Clean title vehicle with only one (1) owner (us). We bought it brand new from the dealership and it is still in near-new condition with only 2,080 miles; it still has the new car smell. Rear-wheel drive adds to the pleasure and excitement of driving this big sedan, and that's partly why luxury sedans and sports cars continue to use it. This car is very responsive for a large car; it has a 5-Speed automatic transmission with a sport-shift manual mode called AutoStick. The AutoStick feature allows the driver to electronically shift gears to improve performance and fuel economy. Engine 5.7 L HEMI V8 Only 2,080 Miles This 300C has a 5.7 L (345 cu in) Hemi V8 engine with the Multidisplacement System (MDS) which means this engine can run on four cylinders when less power is needed in order to reduce total fuel consumption. The MDS makes this vehicle very economical especially on long trips. If engine idle is constant, 4 of the 8 cylinders in this Hemi engine will temporarily turn off to save fuel giving it the fuel efficiency of a V6. The transition between 8 cylinders to 4 and back occur in a fraction of a second and we never noticed it happening. This model also has Chrysler's Fuel Saver Mode display which lets drivers know when four cylinders have shut down. Multidisplacement System Full V8 Automated switch to V4 The 300C is rated to get 16 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. With the MDS system we managed to get approximately 29-31 mpg on the highway. When all 8 cylinders are being used, the 300C can make 340 hp (250 kW) and 390 ft·lbf (530 N·m) of torque. The HEMI engine includes a pushrod induction tube, located on the side of the engine-block. This tube makes the 300C more fuel efficient and quicker, because of the air being "pulled and pushed" into the engine's induction area. The engine uses the HEMI, or double rocker configuration, with a cam-in-block, overhead valve (OHV) pushrod design. There are two spark plugs per cylinder to assure complete fuel/air mixture burn and decrease emissions. This is a very advanced configuration, truly a remarkable car. It is considered Chrysler's flagship model and is comparable to the Mercedes E-Class, although much more powerful and intuitive than the E-Class. Inside our 300C is extremely quiet, you can't hardly hear any exterior noise nor the powerful HEMI engine running. It is very spacious and offers over 40 inches of legroom for its passengers. The 300C was among the first to adapt an increasingly popular high seating position, with seats that rise several inches above those in the typical sedan; this gives the driver the feel of an SUV in the sedan.
