Vehicle Detail
This has been a good car in the past but it is on it’s last leg at this point. Perhaps it would be of more use as a parts car. I have owned this car for several years and used it as my daily driver for a while. It got great gas mileage (well over 30 miles per gallon). However, the repairs started to add up and I stopped driving it. It has been kept in my garage for much of the last couple of years. Towards the end of last year, I was in need of cheap transportation. I decided to see if this car could be repaired. There were just too many things wrong with this vehicle for me to justify getting it repaired. To get this vehicle truly road worthy, the brakes would need to be replaced. The tires would need to be replaced as the back tires appear to have a broken belt. The shock/struts in the back would also need to be replaced as they are frozen up without any give. The front right wheel (or joint) makes a clicking sound when turning corners. The odometer reads 240,000 miles and it does burn or leak some oil. There are numerous things wrong with the interior of the car…..the radio doesn’t work well, one of the window switches is broken, the glove compartment does not open properly, the trunk doesn’t open from inside the vehicle (you have to use the key). This vehicle does drive and I wouldn’t mind people test driving it on the road in front of my house. However, I would not consider driving this car on the highway as I don’t consider it roadworthy at this point. It is simply in very bad shape. With time and money it could make economical transportation but it may be of better use as a “parts car.” I do want to point out that this car does NOT have a sunroof. When I entered the VIN number in the listing, it was automatically listed as having a sunroof. I want to be clear that it doesn’t have a sunroof.
