ALL ORIGINAL If you have been looking for an excellent condition, original MK1 Toyota MR2, this is the one. The is one of the nicest, best-condition original MR2's for sale anywhere. This MR2 is a total blast to drive. It is quick, nimble and has very precise handling. The 7500rpm redline allows amazing flexiblilty and surprising power and acceleration. The car is totally reliable and dependable, and it gets phenomenal fuel economy. What more could you ask for? A back seat? It has the 4A-GE inline-4 engine (7500 rpm redline!), 5-speed manual transmission, sunroof, cruise control and A/C (blows cold). This car has no known mechanical or electrical problems, and everything works just as it should. The engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, exhaust, etc are all in good working order. I would trust this car to drive cross-country at any time. The paint and body are very good. The paint appears to be all-original, and the body is straight and very clean. There is no rust, save for a few stone nicks that have oxidized and formed a few tiny bubbles where the paint was nicked. No body rust, rot or corrosion problems whatsoever. All of the body panels are original and still bear the factory VIN stickers. The only modifications this car has are MOMO pedals and a MOMO steering wheel. This car has nearly new tires and a new muffler/exhaust parts. This car has no fluid leaks, it never overheats, and the A/C works. The car runs smoothly, powerfully and it is very quick. The handling is out-of-this-world and the balance is excellent. There are no rattles, clunks or driving problems. As mentioned earlier, this car is 100% reliable. I'd take it on a drive to California tomorrow... The paint is all original- it is still glossy and good. There are a couple of minor dings on the driver's door. The interior is clean and very nice- with no rips, tears or wear marks, other than one tiny hole in the driver's seat. The ashtray cover is missing, but this can be found easily online. There is a tiny nick in the windshield glass by the A-pillar on the driver's side, but it isn't in the line of sight. The A/C works and blows cold. The radio is missing- I do have a JVC CD player head unit that I'm including- the wiring is there, it just needs to be installed. I have a stack of receipts showing maintenance and oil changes, going all the way back to 1999. I also have the OH Vehicle Inspection reports from 05 and 08 showing full compliance. I also have the owner's manual. I don't think you'll find a better condition MK1 MR2 for sale anywhere. This is a great, and FUN car. This car is stored at my building in Willoughby, OH.
