You are bidding on an all original 1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 5-speed Notchback Sedan. I am the third owner. It is 1 of only 842 made in 1989 in this color code 1D which is dark gray metallic. This was the first year for mass air engine management and the last year of tilt steering wheel with no air bag. There is no factory sunroof or defroster option. This mustang has been off the road since 12/2002 and garage kept ever since. I purchased this car 2 years ago from a friend who bought it from the original owner and I have been slowly restoring it back to as-new condition in my spare time. The engine and drivetrain are all original except for a new motorsport clutch. There are no leaks at all. The underneath of this mustang is as clean as the rest of the car. All the factory pollution equipment is still present and working on the engine. The exhaust had to be upgrade due to its age so I installed Ford Motorsport stainless steel ceramic coated shorty headers, Mac off-road H-pipe, and a Dynomax stainless steel Ultraflow cat-back exhaust system. The interior is clean, stock, and everything works as it should, including the center console lid and factory stereo system. The body is straight with absolutely NO RUST and has been repainted 6 months ago the original factory color. The wheels are off a SSP mustang and have been repainted the original black. All the brakes have been replaced and are in perfect working order. All of the window trim is also in excellent condition. I also have the original owners manual pack with the original window sticker. This car is a true survivor, never in an accident or raced. This mustang starts, runs, and drives like new with no issues at all. I am listing this auction for seven days as a NO RESERVE auction so the highest bidder will win this Mustang.
