For Sale: 1997 Ford E-250 Hi-top handicap van with a wheelchair lift. This vehicle shows 178,270 (not actual) miles on the odometer, however the mileage on the engine is approximately 60,000 miles. The engine was replaced about 2 years ago. We don't have any documents that prove that the engine was replaced and that is has only about 60,000 miles on it but if you test drive this van you will see it for yourself. The engine is mechanically sound and can be driven anywhere with confidence. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission. Tires are in excellent condition. Vehicle includes a powered wheelchair lift (Braun Corporation), which makes this vehicle perfect for Nursing homes, Church use, City use, or just a great work truck. It is a side loader. There are bench flip down seats (sits 6 people in the back and 2 in front) in the van. This van also holds 1-3 wheelchairs. This vehicle has no known defects, however there are some damage on the inside of the side door (Please see pictures). The exterior has been well maintained however rust is present. The condition of the interior is clean. This past week this van received the following service: oil and filter change air conditioning service alignment undercoating The vehicle just passed state inspection and is good through June 2011.
