A limited number of the ACR version of the Dodge Neon were made in 1997 and the ACR package created a fun to drive around town(EPA mileage 25/35 mpg) and a formidable autocross car and SCCA racer. The ACR package included the following which the standard Neon lacked: adjustable Koni front shocks, close ratio steering, upgraded suspension, rear disc brakes, close ratio trans and different front end. The car advertised has been in our family since new and has 65,662 miles on it. Has received so-so car and I would say the car is in fair condition overall. After market paint 10 years ago and now has some scraps on the passenger side that took off the mirror which is on order. Spray can paint on that side. Door opens like it should. Heavy smoker used it but some of the smell has been eliminated. Uses 2 quarts of oil between oil changes. Two almost new tires. AC requires a charge every season as no one can find the leak. Interior seats are good. Carpet poor but new rubber mats. This would be a great car for a high school boy that wants good mileage and something to learn on and also to autocross. We did autocross it and in fact used it at Mid Ohio and Putnam to learn road course driving skills. If there is anyone seriously interested I will take some pictures.
