Vehicle Detail
Hello all. It's time to sell my 1994 347 stroker mustang unfortunately. I've owned the car since November of 2009. I bought the car from a gentleman in california, and had it shipped here with the intentions of making it a pure 1/4 mile car. However, that's not practical for me to do right now. I'm honestly starting to grow out of the whole fast and loud car gig. Time to start house shopping and having one less car I have to pay insurance on and maintain would be great. I'm a certified mechanic, so rest assured the car has been well taken care of. The interior of this car is literally almost brand new. Hard to believe for a 17 year old car, but it's true. I have receipts for the paint job, engine work, battery, alternator, etc. The only receipts I DON'T have are for the rear end and transmission. Everything else is accounted for. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO COME TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!! OK time for the good stuff. Heres a walkaround and rev video of the car. Unfortunartely my cannon powershot camera can't pick up the lope and overall sound of this car. You have to hear it in person to really get a sense of how the car sounds. I get compliments every time i take the car for a cruise. http://s724.photobucket.com/albums/ww248/02corvettez06/?action=view¤t=022.flv 1994 Mustang GT w/ a 5 speed Tranny and 23 tooth speedo gear to get it as close as possible with the 4.10 rear end. 362RWHP/359RWTQ. These numbers were made with a Comp XE274 cam. It definitely has more in it since the custom Ed curtis grind cam. There are 185k miles on the chassis and about 5k on the new motor setup, rearend, and rebuilt tranny. This car has been in an accident and the bodywork is good, but not the best. On the driver side rear quarter panel, you can see where some body work was done. It is not something that will pop out at you whatsoever, but I do need to mention it. The car was backed into in a parking lot. There are also a few dings here and there and a scratch down the drivers door. There are also some paint chips in the front of the car from driving on the freeways out here. But overall, the car is very clean and has great lines. As far as any engine problems go, there are none. The only issue is a tiny crack in the oil pan that has been sealed with JB WELD, but will still occasionally leak a drop of oil. I have a new oil pan just haven’t had time to replace it yet. Only other thing to mention is a tiny spot of rust beginning to form on the roof of the car where the roof meets the window. Nothing crazy, but I just want to be honest so there are no surprises. I also just put in a new battery and alternator, so the car is all good to go. The car also has an aftermarket python (viper) alarm system. Exterior Mods: Recent Paint (within last 3 years). The clear coat on the stripes is beginning to flake off a little bit on the roof stripes. Nothing that can not be fixed. Smoked Blue Oval Industries Headlights and Fog lights Painted billet grille Lowered on Jumex (Eibach sportline imitations) with KYB rear shocks and stoptech front struts 17x9 and 17x10.5 Black w/ machined lip bullit wheels wrapped in new Nitto extreme 555r 275/40/17’s and new Nitto 555r DRAG RADIALS in 315/35/17 outback. Have less than 300 miles on all 4 Brand new drilled and slotted rotors all around with ceramic pads. Car stops great. Painted rotors and calipers look fantastic. Fresh brake fluid and power steering flushes Oil just changed 50 miles ago with Mobil 1 synthetic Rear Windows as well as rear windshield have 5% tint Interior: Panasonic CD Deck With Ipod connection 10" Pyle square sub w/ vented box 800W Sony XPLOD Amp Pioneer speakers in front and back White Face Gauges w/ carbon fiber trim Pro 5.0 Short Shifter with GT Knob Engine: 347 Stroker Shortblock built by PARE (Compression is about 10.7:1 with my setup. Have all receipts) All bolts are ARP and all gaskets are FELPRO AFR 185 Cylinder Heads Melling high volume oil pump Ford Racing 1.6 Roller Rockers Trickflow Hardened Pushrods Ford Racing Roller Lifters Ford Racing Timing Chain and Gears Custom Ground cam by Ed Curtis at Flowtech (Have cam spec sheet) .598 lift intake and .579 exhaust. 112 lsa. Can you say loud? Holley Systemax 2 upper and lower intakes 75MM Pro Product Throttle Body C and L intake Tube 75MM Pro-M MAF Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator MSD Blaster 2 coil and distributor. MSD 8.5mm wires. New Spark plugs. Exhaust: MAC LT Headers MAC Pro-Chamber MAC Pro dumps Supporting Mods: Custom burned SCT chip by Danny Swanson at Swanson Performance 30LB Ford Racing Injectors Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator Rebuilt T-5 Tranny w/ new heavy duty clutch (Brand unknown put in by previous owner. Grabs VERY hard) New Rear End with 4.10 Gears, stock axles Walbro 255lph fuel pump Polyuretane motor mounts Extra parts that come with the vehicle: 2 fuel filters New inner tie rods (were given to me by a friend who sold his mustang) 6 pack case of 10w40 mobil 1 synthetic motor oil Things the car needs: New oil pan due to crack. I have a new oil pan with gasket, just don’t have time to tear the car apart and replace it right now. New Input shaft on the transmission. When it was rebuilt, they reused the old one and its just not strong enough for the power this car makes. The car still shifts smooth, zero grinds. Its when the car is coasting down to a stop you can feel the car lurch a little bit, due to the slop in the input shaft gears. This part is around $100. Front end alignment as the car has a little bit more camber and toe due to lowering the vehicle. I can have the car aligned before it’s picked up at no charge to the buyer. Starter - The car ALWAYS starts, it just cranks a little slower after the car has been driven due to heatsoak of the ORIGINAL starter. A new high torque starter is around $70 and will cure this. New dyno tune. This isnt really needed, but since the new cam was intalled the car has more power that can be used. As the car sits it runs neck and neck with 03 cobras that have an intake, pulley and exhaust. This car will run 11.70’s - 11.90’s without a problem. With the new tune the car will make over 380rwhp/tq on a good safe 93 octane tune. on 100 octane and above the car will be knocking on the door of the 400rwhp/tq range drivers rear bumper sidemarker. I just noticed in the pics its missing...? Clear title in hand ready to make a deal!! Any questions feel free to call/text me at 847-997-3866 or email me at Garnold347@gmail.com Thanks! Grant
