It was painted once in its original Dover White done many years ago. The car really deserves a restoration but it can be driven the way it sits right now. The body is totally solid and rust free and it is also super straight down the sides. It has one of the cleanest bodies i have ever seen on a '59 Cadillac. This car has never been hit or messed with and everything its perfectly. All the chrome and stainless on the car is in good original condition and looks great for being 50 years old. The original hubcaps also in great condition. The interior was all original, ordered in two tone white and black. Again the interior really deserves to be redone. It has a few rips in the leather sections of the seat. The dash pad has a few cracks and it really needs new carpet. The chrome on the interior is all there, some of it could be cleaned up and some of it needs replated. The horn ring is perfect on the car and all the glass is great except for the passenger side window which is cracked. It needs new weather stripping throughout the car. Everything works great on the car except the clock. Inside the trunk, it needs to be redone but it still has its original spare and its original jack. Mechanically, the little Caddy runs and drives great. The engine compartment is all stock and original. This car always starts right up and floats down the road beautifully. The air-conditioning works great and blows cold, except the fan stopped working on me. It has a brand new dual exaust system on it. The suspension is very tight and drives great. This is an ultra rare classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on. All in all, this is a great original, totally rust free car that can be driven the way it is or with a little time and money would be a 50k plus '59 Cadillac. This car literally stops traffic with the amount of attention it recieves. I welcome all international bidders.
