Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE!!! 1967 DODGE CORONET 440 (WH23G7) ORIGINALLY A BIG BLOCK 383 / AUTO ARIZONA CAR I am going to try my best to give you the best description I can so you can fully. It has never been in an auto accident. It has been in Arizona, so it has not rusted in anyway that I can see. Floor pans , trunk pans, rockers, sheet metal, frame etc all rust free. 8 3/4" open rear axle. 7 leaf HD rear springs. He had the rear wheel well quarter panels opened up to have a more traditional opening. It is painted Brilliant Blue Code 362 from Dodge 2008 model. It is two tone with black painted top. The paint work is year or so old and the body although is clean it does have some door dings, some filler in some small area's and some minor scratches, blemishes and paint chips in the paint in a few places. The original molding holes on the bodysides were welded shut not filled with filler. It is a base coat clear coat paint job and shines real nice. It is great for crusing. The body would not take much to smooth out perfectely if you are looking to restore show. Original color was white. It has customized quarter panel striped utilizing "Dodge" decals for a 78 Truck and customizing a 70 Super Bee panel stripe. The stripe is painted as well as outlined with pinstripping. The hood has customized stripes very similiar to 67 GTX, but with outline stripe. To finish off the style 14" Rallye Wheels on 60 Series tires, 1970 like Go-wing was installed and fiberglass 69 Super Bee 6 pk hood scoop was incorporated on the hood. All of this makes for one unique looking Mopar. I like that all of the customizing was done using equipment that was from Mopars of the Muscle car era makes it look real sharp. Although it was going to be someone street racer it is now set up to be a street cruiser with pop! Interior has a new headliner installed, dash cap and carpet are new. Seat upholstery was replaced new with a 68 Road Runner pattern and the door panels were redone in a black vinyl using the seat medallions above the arm rest pads. The rear windows were fixed much like a coup. The previous owner removed the rear inner window hardware and fixed the glass in place to reduce weight. You could return it back if you desired. There is no radio and no heater. All doors open close nicely. Front windows roll up and done nicely too for a 43 year old car. Interior looks very nice and for the most part new. Needs a washer jug and hoses for the windshield wipers. . Locks all work, iginition switch is new. Clear Arizona Title. I do not have the fender tag or build sheet. Keep in mind this is not a restored show car. The trim is original. The front grille and surrounding trim has little dings and dents. The hood molding is a new repro. The rear bumper has wear. Trim rings on the tires have some road rash etc. Overall usuable, but can be something that can be replaced with little work . Also missing a reverse lens on the rear bumper. Windshield and windshield gasket was just replaced last week by Safelite Auto Glass. All other glass is original. 400 big block Mopar engine ( for you fans who are not big Mopar guys this is a bore / stroke 383 BB that Mopar began in 1972). The engine is a stock 400 4 bbl (240 net HP) from a 1978 Model it has around 68k miles on it . It has had it emission componets removed and a new 600 cfm Edelbrock Carb with Electric Choke installed with a chrome open air breather. It has stock exhaust manifolds that go back to 2 1/4" aluminized Dynamox Exhaust pipes with Thrush Mufflers that run down just before the rear axle. A nice throaty sound. Igintion has been converted to Electronic with all new parts including the modules, plugs, wires and a rebuilt distributor, starter relay. New shocks up front. Both U-Joints were replaced on the driveshaft. Rebuilt Power Steering Gear Box. 3 Core Radiator (factory stock) But I think this particular radiator is for a small block so someone may want to replace. New Fuel pump, rebuilt water pump. new radiator hoses, rebuilt starter. Fuel tank needs a new sending unit (guage is inop). Could also use a new fuel tank strap (little bent). Front suspension I believe is still original but has been cleaned and greased. Brakes recieved a new master cylinder, some new brake lines, new brake hoses up front and all new brake wheel cylinders on all wheels to replace those that have been sitting. Transmission is a stock A727 B automatic 3 speed transmission. Missing the parking brake pedal assembly . The cables are all still mounted though. $1000 non-refundable deposit is due within' of auction close. Please you must make contact within the 24 hours after you win. Full payment is due with in 3 days after close. So we know you are serious. Sold AS-IS.
