This car has a strong engine with good acceleration, good gas mileage, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Mechanically it is in excellent condition; it has no leaks, no burning, no smoking, no overheating, and strong brakes. With its low miles, the car has a lot of life left to go and drives like new. The tires have over 80% tread life left on its Pirelli euForia tires. There is a clean/no smell at all throughout the car. It has a clean and shiny Chili Red (red with white roof and mirrors) exterior and a clean black leather interior. We obtained the car with ~23,000 miles and have driven and tested it personally for 3 months / 1, 000+ miles of long distance highway and city driving; it had oil change at Mini also done while it was with us. There are a couple of minor things to be noted: the left steering wheel spoke has a small plastic piece missing in it; the rear bumper has some scratches on it. These are mostly unnoticeable as they are very small and do not hinder the function or beauty of the car (see pictures). We are asking $10,795 for this car and the reserve is set very low($9,900) - an amazing $8,000+ below dealer's retail value; this car has a retail or dealership value of over $18,000 and frequently sells for well over $15,500 on Ebay and at most dealerships. The car is clean and in very good condition just like any Mini Cooper sitting on a Mini lot. This is an extremely under priced, reliable, and dependable Mini Cooper that you can get at a steal of a bargain if you are in the market for a great new car that you can drive and enjoy for years to come. Bonus - We have been very impressed by the performance and condition of this car and by the 100% positive inspections it has received. If the car sells at the Buy It Now price we will give a 3 month/3,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first, on the engine and transmission. This is only if the buyer has the oil changed in time at an official Mini/BMW facility at the proper time/interval and checks for proper oil levels at regular intervals. This vehicle has a history of a minor frontal collision that occurred some time ago. The damages this Mini Cooper sustained were mostly cosmetic and did not undermine the vehicle's structural integrity. There was no frame damage involved. In the process of repair the main parts that were replaced were the front bumper and the fiber glass radiator support with brand new, OEM Mini/BMW parts and not aftermarket parts as many repair shops do. All work was done by a certified and professional body shop. The vehicle does not appear to have ever been in any accidents after the repairs were completed. Since this vehicle was involved in a collision, a salvage title was issued on it. The car underwent emissions, brake, and light inspections and tests to ensure that it is a reliable and dependable car for the new owner in factory specifications and conditions. All mechanical and physical inspection showed that the engine, transmission, driveline, electronics, and overall body are all in excellent condition. The car was then inspected at the State Police Headquarters and the salvage status was removed from the car. It now has a reconditioned title status which is equivalent to a clean title and is ready for the road again.
