Your are bidding on a 1972 Lotus Twin Cam Europa. I recently purchased this vehicle from an 83 year old gentleman that purchased this car while on military duty in Europe. He has owned it since the early 80's. It is right hand drive and has the more desirable delorto twin carbs. The prior owner had dissembled the car and was going to restore it but decided to sell it instead. He took it apart and removed the body from the chassis so he could replace the front t section with new steel. This was done and the body was placed back on the chassis. It appears that everything is here to put this car back together. The motor ran strong when he parked it and began the restoration. He pickled the motor with fluids to preserve it during the restoration process. If you have been looking for a complete Lotus to restore this is a good candidate to do so. All of the parts will be neatly packed and placed in the car for shipment to the winning bidder. The original owners manual and factory service manual are also included in the sale.
