If you are serious about a ML55 AMG then you know what people have said and written about their all around performance. As a long time sports car owner and collector and owner of other SUV vehicles including other Mercedes I can state without any hesitancy that the ML55 AMG has to be one of the greatest SUVs ever made. I bought this one in early 2010 with a view to using it not only for everyday use but also to tow as it does have a hitch with an electric brake controller. I changed my mind about towing so I will use my Audi S4 as my daily driver. The tow package is one of the added options that total $2000. The other three options that were added are the built in F40 Radar Detector(700-1000$), the rear roof wind deflector and a full grill guard that I have removed which covers not only the grill but also the headlights. After I bought The ML I had the 60,000 service performed and had it checked out. As to the condition, it has been well cared for by the previous owners and when you look at the carfax you will see that it has been serviced mostly at Mercedes dealers. I do have several of the records and all of the manuals and window sticker are here. The paint is very good with a couple of small scrapes up in the grill area from the grill guard that I touched up. I was surprised to see that there was no curb rash on any of the wheels. The seats(black/charcoal) are heated and in excellent condition and it has the factory navigation system and the multiple cd changer in the rear. I have only driven it on the interstate a couple of times and last week I drove 50 miles to Dayton and back with the cruise set on 70 and was surprised to see 19.2mpg going up as well as coming back. The handling, suspension and engine makes it a truly great vehicle. With a MSRP around $65,000 you are getting one heck of a ride for my buy it now price.
