2000 Ford Taurus 2000 Ford Taurus, 4-door, blue in color, which is the result of a subsequent forfeiture. This vehicle is a 2000 Ford Taurus with the odometer showing 1679,798 miles, however, we have no way of knowing its accuracy. This Taurus has a 3.0L engine with an automatic transmission and front wheel drive. This vehicle has gray interior cloth seats with a cigarette burn in the driver's seat. There is air conditioning, power locks, power windows, power driver's seat and cruise control. It has factory am/fm stereo cassette. This vehicle has rust over the left rear fender and on the rocker panels, there are small dents on the roof and a small dent in front of the left tire. The passenger side view mirror is gone and the right rear end has been damaged to include the trunk lid and taillight assembly, there is a replacement taillight assembly in the trunk The left front tire is flat but the tires are in average condition. This vehicle was started and driven on 5-24-10, there is no battery in this car, but started right off with a replacement. The past maintenance and repair history of this vehicle is unknown and it is being sold as is. This vehicle was seized in an investigation which resulted in the subsequent forfeiture from a DWI in April of 2009. When the vehicle was confiscated, it was being driven on the public streets and mechanically running. The title is registered to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, is clear and ready for new owner transfer.
