1981 Suzuki PE400X with tags and street title!!! ULTRA RARE!!! The PE400 was only manufactured from 1980-1982. There are currently two (2) for sale in the world: one in New Zealand and one in Australia, each is $3,500 and are in nowhere near the condition this one is in! This is true, unmolested "survivor" and super-clean! Only 5066 miles on the original odometer and all original plastic is here in good condition (the rear fender has been slightly "bobbed"). Never raced, this was a mildly used trail bike by an older gentleman. Runs like a 2-year old jacked up on Red Bull and cotton candy! Brand new equipment includes: Brand new, zero-mile tires (matched Cheng Shin 6-ply intermediate- terrain C755’s); Brand new OEM seat cover; Brand new OEM levers and lever covers; Brand new OEM spark plug, tune, jet, oil and OEM foam filter; even has the OEM air filter still air box! Carb professionally rebuilt, set-up and jetted with factory OEM jets, needles and pilots; Chain and sprockets OK; New oil change with Mobil 1 synthetic in crankcase; No cosmetic or mechanical issues; even has the stock (and now unavailable) OEM expansion chamber in very good condition and the OEM USDA Forestry Service approved spark arrestor in perfect shape! EVEN HAS THE OEM STICKERS ON THE GAS TANK, FORKS AND SHOCKS!!! AMAZING!!! The only thing that keeps this from being a true OEM museum piece is the previous owner removed the headlight hi/lo switch (headlight and tailight are now on anytime motor is running), headlight on/off switch and the rear brake light switch – why? I have no clue why! Replacements and/or after-market units still available for about $30 a piece.
