Up for bids is my beloved 1977 Porsche 911s. I Dumped about 10K into this car about 3 years ago. The car starts right up and drives on the weekends. Now, lets take this step by step. Clear Title in hand!!! 1. Drive train; the engine is a 2.7 engine flat 6. the mileage is unknown. I had the compression checked on a used motor taken from a running '77 and bought it. my intention was to take the original engine and restore it. The original engine is still apart. I have the rebuild kit (complete) from pelican parts and the crank has been polished. The heads were stolen from the machine shop but everything else is there. I have the updated chain tensioners too. All this will come with the car. The transmission shifts smoothly, recently serviced and gear lube was changed. no metal shavings were found. 2. The suspension;the frons suspension pan was professionally removed, along with the battery tray and the fuel tank support. The original one was actually removed by drilling out the weld spots and the new pan was spotwelded in. I supervised the job and made sure that no rust was left behind. the bare metal was cured and seamsealer was used. The front suspension is now like new (some surface rust may have formed in the past 2 years but nothing major) the rear suspension would like new shocks but its not urgent. 3. The exterior; The exterior is actually not too bad the front bumper is an IROC RSR style bumper, the rear bumper is also an RS style, both light weight! it also has a very desireable RS ducktail and professionally installed carrera scripts. The paint is starting to dull a little (i had it painted a low gloss paint to look more original) the fuchs could use a respray. It has two pait chips about the size of a quarter. and the rear decklid has scratched the paint a little and could use a touch up. (please dont ask for detailed pictures of this, keep in mind its a 30 yr old car!) Also it has very desireable H4s headlights!! 4. the interior; the seats are in real good shape. the carpet is a little faded, it needs a new headliner and dash. see pictures!!! The wiring was not really completely connected after painting so some things dont work eg: speedo, tach etc. etc. you just have to go through it with a wiring diagram. Please ask any questions before end of auction!! car is sold as is where is, non-US bidders must pay with cashiers check or cash on pick up. I really cant think of anything else. please let me know if you have any questions.
