Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GREAT LOOKING ORIGINAL MIST BLUE 1966 CHEVY IMPALA CONVERTIBLE WITH BUILT 283 V8, DIGITAL DASH AND OTHER COOL OPTIONS, THAT IS ABSOLUTELY TURN-KEY. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Power brakes Power convertible top Dual exhaust Stock 283ci V8 motor Stock Powerglide automatic transmission Standard blue bench seat interior Stock 14" steel wheels with 215/75 radials UPGRADED Talking alarm system w/remote UPGRADED ALPINE stereo system and custom speakers Vehicle comes from upstate NY. Previous owner has had it for the last few years. He's enjoyed the car throughout and maintained it as needed. The car is ABSOLUTELY TURN-KEY drive anywhere. You can fly in and drive this Impala coast to coast without blinking an eye. The vehicle has had the convertible top replaced recently and it looks great. Owner wanted something that was eye-catching as well as reliable, so he dressed up the motor with lots of CHROME accessories, converted it from stock 2bbl. to an Edelbrock 4bbl. with Edelbrock intake, installed aluminum pulleys, dual exhaust, digital Dakota style dash, custom steering wheel, custom stereo and custom remote locking alarm system. It may look absolutely stock on the outside, but it's a real SLEEPER! I've been trying to get this car from him for the past year and i've used it myself as my personal driver and it has performed very well and never let me down. Interior is in VERY GOOD condition with only minor general wear here and there. Seats look nearly LIKE NEW with NO rips. Door panels very nice, almost like NEW. Dash pad looks great. Carpet is older but still presentable. Convertible top is LIKE NEW (was wet when some of the pictures were taken). Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies a "GF" coded 283ci/195hp motor that now puts out closer to 250hp with current modifications, driven by a 2 speed Powerglide automatic and stock rear end. Motor is dressed with performance intake, 600cfm 4bbl. Edelbrock carburetor, full headers, dual exhaust, and mild performance camshaft, as well as mild shift kit in the tranny. Definitely a fun car. The car runs/drives beautifully and starts at the turn of the key. Runs great and idles nicely. Transmission shifts nice and smooth but revs to 2800 rpm to shift up (probably needs new kickdown cable). Brakes stop GREAT. Steering is nice and nimble and the car rides absolutely fantastic for a big cruiser like this. You can easily FLY IN AND DRIVE THE CAR HOME ANYWHERE, it is that reliable. I've taken it around town and on the highway and it has never let me down. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up FAIRLY with decent luster for a halfway presentable driver but it's lightly faded and could use at least a good compounding or perhaps a repaint to take it up to the next level. Normal chips/scatches/dings, etc as you would expect. Both lower front fenders have rust spots towards the very bottom two inches that could use patch panels. Grill has a small dent. Some trim pieces have small dents in them. That's about all I was able to notice. It may need a few other tiny things as any other used car, so please keep that in mind. THIS IS A VERY SHARP LOOKING 1966 CHEVY IMPALA CONVERTIBLE SLEEPER/MILD RESTOMOD IN EYE-CATCHING MIST BLUE, SO YOU CAN'T MISS IT ANYWHERE YOU TAKE IT. RUNS/DRIVES VERY WELL AND YOU CAN HOP IN AND TAKE IT ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW. GREAT CAR FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST TO ENJOY!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
