Getting rid of some of my cars because I have no place to park them anymore... As you can see on other listings Has low miles for its age This is a 1983 Mercedes 300sd turbo with the legendary 5cylinder bulletproof turbo diesel... The best engine Mercedes has ever made with an indestrutible iron cylinder head. These are the cars in the record books.... the ones with 2 million miles... Yes you can own this classic Mercedes and be one of those record breakers... Starts right up at the hint of the key and idles very nicely. Runs with authrotive power and hints minor smoke at full throttle.Transmission shifts smooth even smoother then others i have driven. All lights work well Power steering is smooth. It does need attention though I recently had it inspected and was recommended to replace inner right tie rod its causing the steering wheel to shimmy at around 55 mph. The brakes stop fine and occasionally loose pressure and need to be pumped I suspect a master cylinder. This car has not been driven in 2 years so it may need to be driven as Diesel are work horses and love to be driven. Exterior is presentable and looks good from 20 feet away paint is average and it does have some rust under the back window as pointed out in pictures.Tires are fair. Interior is better then average Drivers side window is the only one that rolls down Sunroof opens nicely. Its 27 years old... You may drive it anywhere if you can navigate the brakes and the shimmy at 55 mph.
