This outstanding example has had just two California owners from new. It was purchased new at Stahl Motor Co. in Monterey, CA by the then Mayor of Monterey. The second owner purchased the car and treated it to a careful and full restoration. All mechanicals were completely rebuilt, new OEM style leather interior, correct carpeting, correctly refinished wood trim all done back to factory specifications. The car comes with all receipts of restoration, and all original books, original dealer delivery sheet and checklist, original book pouch, copy of build sheet supplied by the factory, original build card and more. The car is finished in its entirely original color combination of Papyrus White with Dark Blue Hardtop, medium blue leather interior, and medium blue canvas cloth top. The paint, chrome, glass, trim, cloth top are all show quality as is the entire car. The 250SL is the rarest of the Pagoda series and this car is a solid and honest no stories example. It is laser straight and drives as great as it looks. Well equipped with power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission with floor mounted shifter, both hard and soft tops, full leather interior and a binder with all receipts and factory documentation. We are very pleased to offer this 1968 Mercedes-Benz 250 SL Roadster. This outstanding example has had just two California owners from new. It was purchased new at Stahl Motor Co. in Monterey, CA by the then Mayor of Monterey. The second owner purchased the car and treated it to a careful and full restoration. All mechanicals were completely rebuilt, new OEM style leather interior, correct carpeting, correctly refinished wood trim all done back to factory specifications. The car comes with all receipts of restoration, and all original books, original dealer delivery sheet and checklist, original book pouch, copy of build sheet supplied by the factory, original build card and more. The car is finished in its entirely original color combination of Papyrus White with Dark Blue Hardtop, medium blue leather interior, and medium blue canvas cloth top. The paint, chrome, glass, trim, cloth top are all show quality as is the entire car. The 250SL is the rarest of the Pagoda series and this car is a solid and honest no stories example. It is laser straight and drives as great as it looks. Well equipped with power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission with floor mounted shifter, both hard and soft tops, full leather interior and a binder with all receipts and factory documentation.
